Founder’s Day Special in MPVM The students of MPVM beat the winter chill by celebrating Founder’s Day with enthusiasm and zeal. The celebrations which continued throughout the day were a tribute to the Founder President. Students of different classes participated in varied activities to celebrate the birth anniversary of the Founder President Shri Lokmanilal Ji. It was an endeavour to bring out his vision and create his ‘Dream City’. Various activities were conducted to provide the children with a platform to bring out their hidden potential. A brief but thoughtful program ensued. It began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp. A special assembly was conducted beginning with Vandana by the students. A meaningful thought-of-the-day was given by a student of class 5. Then, Soumya gave a speech reflecting the vision of the Founder President that every Indian should be healthy, educated and cultured for complete personal and national progress. Different Yogic mudras were also shown by the students which can help in achieving a healthy body. The students also sang a melodious song on the Founder President. The students of Class 7 set the mood for celebration by enacting stories like Four Travellers and a Stranger, Ganga : The River of Life, Mahabharat, Lalchi Beta, Id-Gaah and Bhoot Aya. The younger students from classes 5 and 6, gleefully participated in different races like balloon race, thread and needle race, ball race and umbrella race. Students of class 8, in accordance with Christmas season exhibited their love for nature by decorating Christmas trees. Students of class 9 showed talent and sensibility by using waste material in a constructive way. Students of class 10 gave a befitting Power Point Presentation as a tribute to Lokmanilal ji showcasing how the institute started and how it has evolved in the last three decades. Students of class 11 showed their culinary skills by decorating mouth-watering salads. The occasion was marked by the presence of Hony. Secretary Prof. Krishna Gupta, the Treasurer MPVM Samiti Sri Ravindra Gupta, Director Academics Sri Madhukar Gune and Member of Governing Body Smt. Rekha Baid. Hony. Secretary Prof. Krishna Gupta ignited the enthusiasm among the children with her presence and spirit. She warmly appreciated the well-designed and beautifully performed programme and asked the children to imbibe the good qualities of Shri Lokmanilal ji as a real tribute to him. She appreciated the effort put in by the students and the spirit with which they performed. She gave blessings and words of inspiration to all the children and wished that they continued to move ahead with the same spirit. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by the senior secondary-incharge Mrs. Neerja Singh. She heartily thanked all the guests for their presence and inspiration.
