<<-------->>Labour Day Celebrated at M.P.V.M.<<------>> 1st of May is celebrated as Labour Day or International Worker’s Day to honour the labours and the working class. This day is celebrated to commemorate the power of hard work. Maharshi Patanjali Vidya Mandir also celebrated the day to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of its support staff. The programme commenced by welcoming the support staff by the students who applied Tilak on their forehead and greeted them with flowers and cards. The student of class IX D Suyash Mishra delivered a speech on the importance of May Day and appreciated the hard work and simplicity of the labourers, who are the pride of the nation. A group song “Isliya raah sangharsh ki hum chune” was melodiously rendered by the school choir. Suyash Kumar of IX F recited a self composed poem on this occasion. The support staff Mr. Indradev and Mr. Shankar (Lab. Asst.) shared their experiences of the years spent in school. They thanked the Principal, teachers and the students for their support. The Principal, Mrs. Sushmita Kanungo praised and appreciated the efforts of the support staff and expressed her immense gratitude towards them. She asked the students to respect our Indian Culture and Values. She also asked the students to take a resolution to follow true humanitarianism.
