The cultural programme began with a beautiful Saraswati Vandana ‘Veenavadini Var De’ and a Bhajan present by the students namely – Riya Srivastava, Ravikant Chaubey and Arya. Goddess Saraswati is known to be the Goddess of learning, wisdom, knowledge, music and fine arts. By invoking her blessings, a person can gain knowledge and wisdom. In MPVM, we have a special way to seek the blessings of the Goddess by chanting the names of the Goddess a hundred times wherein each and every staff member takes part. The chanting filled the school campus with divine energy and mesmerised the assemblage. Ishita of Class 7th presented a speech on the ‘Importance of Basant Panchami’ where on the other hand a skit based on environment ‘Prakriti Ki Suraksha Hamara Dharma’ was presented by the students of class 5th, 6th and 7th. Through their skit the students spread awareness towards the protection of our environment. Taking the advantage of the day as it was the birthday of an eminent poet of Hindi literature Sri Suryakant Tripathi Nirala, students showed their love and respect towards him through their self written poems. On this auspicious occasion all the students and teachers were dressed in yellow coloured attires and offered floral prayers. Mesmerised by the marvelous performances of the students, the Hon. Secretary Dr. Krishna Gupta blessed them with her inspiring words and asked them to take a pledge on this day to work hard to gain more and more knowledge to make their lives successful.
