FOUNDER’S DAY CELEBRATED AT M.P.V.M. 2018----->
Sri Lokmanilal, the founder President of Maharshi Patanjali Vidya Mandir, was born on the 20th of December, 1912. He was a visionary, who knew that Indian culture and heritage was needed to be instilled in the young children and with this thought Sri Lokmanilal, founded the school, M.P.V.M. Every year, the teachers and the students celebrate his birth anniversary with great enthusiasm and re-dedicate themselves to his dreams and vision.
The day’s programme commenced with the lighting of the lamp by the Honorary Secretary Dr. Krishna Gupta, Treasurer Sri Ravindra Gupta, the Principal Smt. Sushmita Kanungo, Smt. Sudeepti Gupta, Sri Abhimanyu, Sri U.N. Mishra, Sri Virendra Gupta and Smt. Nisha Gupta. A melodious Shiv Stuti ‘Praseed Praseed Prabho Manmathari’ was rendered by the school choir. An interesting ‘Talk Show’ based on the life history of Sri Lokmanilal, was a very captivating presentation, in which the students talked about his experiences, thoughts and values and how he could strike a balance between firmness of rules and discipline and softness and tenderness of being human. An enthralling song written for this divine personality ‘Sanskriti ki sanhita tha vah jeevan’, was beautifully sung by the school choir. Sai Satya Singh of Class XI delivered a speech on Sri Lokmanilalji’s dreams and resolutions - ‘Swapna Aur Sankalp’. He had a dream, a vision which he put into action, for the growth of society, nation and the future generations.
Sri Ravindra Gupta, in his speech said that Parents inspire their children but Sri Lokmanilalji not only inspired his children but also the entire nation with his innovative ideas.
The Hony. Secretary Dr. Krishna Gupta praised and appreciated the students and the teachers for their efforts and beautiful presentation and showed her trust and confidence that the legacy of the founder President would be carried forward.
The Principal Smt. Sushmita Kanungo thanked each and everyone who made the programme so pleasing and attractive and wished and hoped that the students would imbibe the values of Sri Lakmanilalji.
