Farewell at MPVM 2019
The 2018-19 batch of Class 12 MPVians was given a grand send off by the school. The students of Class 11 under the guidance of their teachers organized a beautiful celebration to make their last day in the school memorable.
The function began with the Lighting of the Lamp by the Principal Smt. Sushmita Kanungo and the school Incharges. A Saraswati Vandana was sung by Riya Srivastava of Class 11 B. The cultural event of dance and songs was compacted with awards given in recognition of the special qualities and talents of the outgoing students. An impressive PPT traced their life in school creating a mood of tearful happiness. The PPT ended with words of advice and blessings from the Principal and the Class Teachers of Class 12.
Innovative games like ‘No Thumb Challenge’ and ‘Eating Banana Challenge’ lent a mood of gaiety and they were well conducted by Afsha and Satakshi Srivastava of 11 B. The Winners were Rohan Yadav of 12 A3 & Madhav Gupta, Nimish Dubey of 12 A3 respectively. The whole event was anchored by Piyush Tripathi (11 A1), Siddhika Singh (11 B) and Aadya Agarwal (11 C) bringing variety and brilliance in the conducting of the Awards.
The school Captains Naman Dwivedi & Oorjaa Mishra gave a beautiful speech expressing the aspiration of the outgoing students and their promises to their Alma Mater. They also thanked the teachers for their guidance and support. The Principal congratulated the students of Class 11 who were responsible for organizing a grand farewell. She appreciated the school captain, especially Naman Dwivedi for the way he led his team. She reminded them that on the life ahead, there would be no one to check them and they would have to lead themselves, but humbleness is one quality that would take them ahead. “Be connected to the school” she said, and wished them a bright future ahead.
Excitement reached its peak when a pair of nominee from each section was called for the most awaited personality show on the stage. Finally their wit and poise proved their ability. Ashwini Kumar Singh of 12 A3 and Satya Rai of 12 A4 were selected for the Award for Best Attire.
The events of the day concluded with the crowning of Apoorva Gupta of 12 B as Miss MPVM and Shreyash Kumar Singh 12 A1 as Mr MPVM by the Principal.
