Teachers’ Day Celebration in MPVM-------->
‘Teachers are the torch bearers of the Gen-next’, with this very message, September 5th, Teachers’ day, the birthday of Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan was celebrated in the premises of Maharshi Patanjali Vidya Mandir, to honour and appreciate the teachers, organised by the students of Classes IX to XII. The event began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the Principal Mrs. Sushmita Kanungo, followed by the beautiful Ganesh Stuti.
In progress the first programme was a Band Performance by the students of Class IX, which was exceptionally good. Thereafter the phenomenal Dance Performance by the students of Classes IX & X which was outstanding. Then the Principal of the school alongwith Incharges was called upon the stage to cut the ceremonial cake and the programme proceeded with yet another rocking programme for teachers which was various games to entertain them.
The very highlighting aspect of the programme was the Interactive session by R.J. Govind and R.J. Nidhi from Red F.M. 93.5, who had a great, enthusiastic and fun time with the teachers and students of the school. In this series, the students of Classes XI & XII took great effort to entertain the teachers with their awesome Band Performance and dedicated one song to the departed soul of the very beloved and revered art teacher Ms. Mamta Saxena.
The programme ended with the very inspirational and thought provoking speech of the Principal Mrs. Sushmita Kanungo, who appreciated the students for their wonderful programme and emphasized that ‘showing true love and respect is the best gift for the teachers’ and wished them for their bright future.
