Hindi Diwas (14-9-2015)MPVM Celebrates Hindi Diwas
‘Hindi Diwas’ was celebrated in the premises of Maharshi Patanjali Vidya Mandir on the 14th of September. Students presented a wonderful assembly programme. Raman Mishra, a student of Class 5 recited ‘Kabir Ke Dohe’. Priyanshi Shukla of Class 6-D presented her thoughts on Hindi Language. Shivani Verma of 10-C spoke out her feelings that people should use Hindi and feel proud of their language. Aman Gupta of 10-A recited a well known poem of Maithili Sharanji.
Mrs. Neerja Singh, senior Hindi teacher, in her speech expressed her concern that the young people hesitate using Hindi and use English most of the time. Knowledge of languages is a merit but not using your own language is a demerit. She urged the students to use their mother tongue as when people have love and respect for their language, they get respect from others. She focused on the fact that Hindi is a very scientific language.
The programme concluded by the speech of the Principal Smt. Sushmita Kanungo, in which she talked about the contribution of famous Hindi authors & poets. She praised the presentation of all the students & congratulated everyone on the occasion.
