MPVM organizes Beat the Heat Activity------
Maharshi Patanjali Vidya Mandir celebrated ‘Beat the Heat’ Activity to vanquish the heat of summer. The students with their zealous fervor presented various activities, organized in the month of May 2017 in the Raman Hall of the school. On 6th May the students of Class V recited wonderful poems on the theme – “Nurture Nature” the very rhythmic and melodious presentations of all the sections of class V mesmerized everyone who witnessed the programme. Amongst all, class V-C bagged the first prize who recited the poem “You can’t be that, No you can’t be that”. The other two enchanting performances of class V-D and V-E secured the second position who performed the poem – “All things bright and beautiful. (V-D) “Stopping by the woods” (V-E)
In the series, on 9th May 2017 it was the turn of class VI to showcase their talent in the programme – “Fancy Dress” where they were to manifest the historical heroes, famous cartoon characters and natural beauty. All the students of class VI participated enthusiastically and made the show a grand show, In which Vinayak Mishra of 6-D who constumed himself as Chota Bheem and Shubhi Yadav of 6F who dressed by up as “Jhansi Ki Rani” were the first prize winners and Priyamvada Shukla of 6-A got the second prize for becoming Miki Mouse”.
In this vigorous and energetic manifestation of the talent the students of class VII marched forward with their fantastic “Puppet Dance” presentation on 12th May. All the sections picked up some theme and rendered in ‘puppet dance’ form on the stage of Raman Hall. The spectators were thrilled with their exceptional performances.
In this competition class VII E captured everyone’s heart with their dance on the theme “Mother” – Meri maa ---- and secured 1st prize and class VII A stood 2nd who performed on eerie theme – Gumnaam Hai Koi ----.
On the same day another event was to loose hands on the canvas and depict the colourful emotions in the form of ‘cartooning’ which was the next competition for class VIII where students with their marvelous imagination showcased their inner feelings and conveyed some messages on their cartooning.
The colouful presentation of class VIII A bagged 1st prize and class VIII B and VIII E got 2nd prize.
Under the same theme, last but not the least, class IX and X turned up with their endeavour in the “Theme Dance” competition and Advertisement Presentation”. On 13th May class IX presented various themes in their dance in which class IX C with the theme “Save Girl Child” sensitized every one and grabbed 1st position and class IX E with the theme “Women Empowerment” touched every one’s heart and secured the 2nd position.
On 16th May the students of class X F attracted the viewers advertising “Sonata Watches” and bagged the 1st prize and second prize was received by X D who rendered “Join Army” in their advertisement.
In all the competitions the presence of the revered Principal Mrs. Sushmita Kanungo boosted up the students moral and her ever motivating magical words encouraged students to do better in future. She appreciated all the students and wished them for their priceless efforts and congratulated each and every student and teacher to make the activity “Beat the Heat” a success.
