Swaraj Saptah Celebrations at M.P.V.M. -----------------------
Maharshi Patanjali Vidya Mandir has been holding various activities for different classes, as a part of the week long celebrations observing ‘Swaraj Saptah’.
On the 5th day, continuing with the events, the students of the school participated in a rally till Minto Park, holding attractive and meaningful placards, to make everyone aware that Swaraj doesn’t mean only getting freedom from Britishers but shunning off the negativities like Corruption, Gender bias, Child Labour etc. so that India emerges as a strong and powerful nation.
The second activity of the day was ‘Nukkad Natak’ presented by the students of the six sections of Class XI, on the theme ‘Rashtra Ki Samsamayik Jwalant Samasyayein’ (Mission Kalam’s ‘India – 2020’). The various topics taken up by the different sections were ‘Kalam Ke Sapne’, ‘Shiksha Ka Adhikaar’, ‘Swachch Bharat’, ‘Andhvishwas’, Nari Sashaktikaran and ‘Rashtriya Ekta’.
The performance of the students was commendable. They brought up the topic in such a way that the various messages were successfully conveyed to the audience.
The occasion was graced by the Hony. Secretary Dr. Krishna Gupta, Treasurer Sri Ravindra Gupta & the Principal Smt. Sushmita Kanungo. Dr. Krishna Gupta praised the performance of all the students and appreciated the relevant issues taken up by them. Not only the problems were shown but strong solutions were also given. She encouraged the students who are already so inspired, that they would definitely take the country to new heights as there is a Kalam in each one of them.
