Teacher’s Day Celebration in MPVM 2019----> Maharshi Patanjali Vidya Mandir celebrated Teacher’s Day with zeal and zest on 5th September 2019. There was an unusual excitement in the school atmosphere which proliferated on the day. The students of classes 1 to 12th celebrated Teacher’s day with their teachers by presenting various praise worthy performances as dances, songs and poetry. The tiny tots of classes 1 to 5 enjoyed a class picnic with their teachers, relishing various palatable snacks and indoor games. The programme commenced with lighting of the lamp followed by cake cutting by respected Principal Ma’am and Incharges. The students conveyed their gratitude, love and respect to their teachers through all their presentations which over whelmed the teachers sitting in the audience. The celebration continued in Radhkrishnan Hall with Patanjali Group of schools. There were various games crafted for teachers such as go bananas, childhood photo identification, ferns, and petals, advertisement identification and so on. Not only the teachers but Principals of all the schools were also involved in games and together they all enjoyed and celebrated teacher’s day. A skit presentation on “Save Environment” reached out each soul sitting in the gathering by giving food for thought that if we want to survive; the survival of nature is must. The celebration reached its zenith with the blessings of the Secretary of the School Prof. Krishna Gupta who appreciated the teachers for their wonderful programme and the way they had created the ambience of the school was praise worthy. She highlighted the multiple roles of Dr. Sarwapalli Radhakrishnan and first and formost role as a teacher. She congratulated the teachers celebrating the birth anniversary of a great President and Philosopher of India. At the end, all the winners of various games were given gifts by respected Sri Ravindra Gupta and the former Principal of MPVM Sri U.N. Mishra. The Principal Mrs. Sushmita Kanungo while addressing the teachers, lauded their exemplary contribution to the school’s phenomenal success and guided everyone with an inspirational story conveying the idea of sacrifices which leads to glory and achievement. The teachers were presented gifts on the occasion by Prof. Krishna Gupta and there after a grand lunch was arranged for everyone.
