Vivekanand Jayanti Celebrated in M.P.V.M.----->>
Vivekanand Jayanti was celebrated with grandeur and zeal in the school on 12.01.16. On this occasion a melodious song was sung by the school choir in the assembly. Students delivered speeches reflecting the different aspects of Swamiji’s life, teachings and philosophy.
The Principal Mrs. Sushmita Kanungo motivated the students to imbibe the values and qualities of Swami Vivekanand and follow his path of life. She encouraged the children to follow the Principle given by Swamiji of “Arise! Awake! Stop not till the Goal is reached”.
On this day, 250 students of class VIII of MPVM became a part of a huge rally organized by the Ramkrishna Mission, to make the citizens and children of the city aware of the noble thoughts and values of Swami Vivekanand. The young students and teachers of the school participated enthusiastically in the rally. The rally started from Vivekanand Crossing at Civil Lines & ended up at Ramkrishna Mission office near High Court. The Chief Guest on the occasion was the BJP leader, Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya. After the rally, many dignitaries addressed the students telling them excerpts from the life of Swami Vivekanand.
