MPVM Student wins CBSE – SAEVUS Award

Maharshi Patanjali Vidya Mandir reached monumental heights by providing unbating opportunity to its students by conducting ‘Earn yourstripes, Inter School 2013' competition organized by Saevius Wild Life India LLP in collaboration with the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi.

Miss Tanvi Balaji, of Class IX bagged the 3rd position and was declared the ‘Tiger Warrior' at the Final Round of the Adventure Camp held at Ranthambore Tiger Reserve, Rajasthan. It is noteworthy to mention that 32,000 students participated in the 1 st round out of which 35 students from all over the country were shortlisted for the 2 nd round. In the final round 18 students were selected in which Maharshi Patanjali Vidya Mandir and its student Tanvi Balaji were declared the recipients of the National Award and were bestowed with the ‘Trophy of Tiger Illuminary Award' for being a part of Global Tiger Day Celebration. The Adventure Camp at Ranthmbore Tiger Reserve, Rajasthan was attended by the top Environmentalists including Mr. Nallamuthu, India's best cinematographer, who is the recipient of two International Awards for his movie ‘Tiger Dynasty'. The eco-tourist Tanvi stood 1 st in the Quiz conducted by him and had amazing experience of having the ‘Walk trail' in the jungle Mrs. Sushmita Kanungo, Principal MPVM congratulated the tiger ambassador of MPVM for showing exemplary confidence by being a part of this venture of spreading awareness about Tiger Conservation.
